Government

Lighthouse Electrical Group is proud to be veteran owned.

We currently hold GSA status, and have an ongoing service agreement locally with the U.S Environmental Protection Agency. Our focus moving forward in 2010 and beyond will be to secure more Federal Government work while growing our local State and County portfolios as well.

Lighthouse Electrical Group is listed in over 50 small works rosters and is actively pursuing work with the Army Corps of Engineers.

The Lake Haven Utility District recently awarded Lighthouse Electrical Group a three year maintenance contract with a year one contract amount of $1 Million Dollars. Lighthouse Electrical Group looks forward to supporting the industrial lift stations and 24x7 response that will be required of our technicians.

As much of the government work under construction in 2010 is school based, Lighthouse electrical group targeted several public works projects to add to the 2010 backlog.

Lakota Middle School is a brand new school being constructed in the Federal Way School District. Partnering with LYDIG construction, Lighthouse Electrical Group plans to deliver this $2 million dollar project in the third quarter of 2010. Lakota Middle School will be the first project Lighthouse Electrical Group will be deploying Photovoltaic Solar Panels and Power Storage Systems as a supplemental energy source.

Lighthouse Electrical Group has also partnered with Lydig Construction on the Northwest Detention Center. This started out as a relatively small tenant improvement and quickly grew into just under $500,000.00 project spanning almost 4 months. Few electrical contractors are familiar with the specific requirements of working within a secured facility. LHEG was able to provide both electrical and voice data support on yet another successful Lydig project.

For years Green River Community College has offered a program for High School Students that allows them to take pre-requisite college classes during their normal school year. Some students can even take courses relating to fields of interest in specific occupations. This program has become so successful and widely used but many schools in the area, the facility is expanding to accommodate the growing demand. At just under $2 million dollars, the project will span well into 2010 to be ready for the 2011 school year.

In addition to schools the government has made a concerted effort to improve the state’s Fire Stations. Lighthouse Electrical Group was recently awarded the North Shore Fire station with Harmatta Construction. This $1 million dollar upgrade should be complete in September of 2010.
